Signal Lamp Privacy Policy

1 Who we are and what this policy covers
EG Maritime Sea Consultant, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, operates Signal Lamp. This policy explains our handling of personal information through the Signal Lamp website, mobile app and related support services. Our registered address is Al Ihtiraf Street, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Signal Lamp provides maritime education and practice in naval visual signalling: flashing light (Morse code), semaphore, and flags and pennants.
This policy gives notice of our practices; using the app does not by itself provide consent for optional processing.
2 Information we collect
Account information: No personal information collected. All handled through app store.
Training information: modules accessed, submitted exercise answers, assessment scores, completion records and activity dates are saved to the user device. These records allow progress to continue across sessions.
Purchase information: through app store.
Technical information: No identifiers or logs can be linked to an account.
Support information: information you choose to send when seeking assistance, including your contact details and the contents of your request. Please avoid sending confidential operational information or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
3 Why we process information
We do not process or collect personal information. All handled through app store.
4 Payments
Purchases through Apple’s in-app purchase service are processed by Apple.
5 Service providers and other disclosures
We use apple store connect and lovable for app infrastructure.
We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party behavioural advertising.
6 Cookies analytics and device permissions
Signal Lamp does not use cross-company advertising tracking and does not request the advertising identifier. If tracking is introduced, we will explain it and obtain any required permission before it occurs.
Signal Lamp does not collect real-world precise location.
7 Storage security and international transfers
We maintain safeguards appropriate to the information and risks. No online system is completely secure. Protect your credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
8 Retention
We hold no accounts and no training records. Your study record stays on your device only.
9 Deleting your data
Signal Lamp has no accounts and no sign-in, and it offers no subscriptions. Your study record is stored only on your own device: you can erase it at any time with the reset control on the Overview page, and deleting the app removes it as well. For any other privacy request, contact admin@maritime-sea-consulting.com.
10 Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction or cessation of processing, or object to certain processing. Contact the email above. We may verify identity proportionately and will respond within applicable legal time limits. You may complain to the competent data protection authority where that right is available.
11 Young users and external services
Signal Lamp is intended for users aged 16 years and above.
12 Applicable law and changes
We comply with privacy laws applicable to our activities, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 concerning personal data protection where applicable. Additional rules may apply in markets we serve. We will update this policy as practices change and provide notice, and obtain fresh consent where required, before materially different consent-based processing begins.
